The annual Nature Festival is returning to South Australia once again from 26 September – 12 October 2025. This year’s theme, Flow, explores everything from rivers and oceans to creative expression and the flow of communities and generations.
Here are all the Nature Festival events being hosted by Friends of Parks and Nature groups this year! If you’ve always wanted to get involved with Friends of Parks but weren’t sure where to start, these events are a great opportunity to give it a try.

- 29 September – Friends of Sturt River Landcare – Butterfly conservation
- 7 – 9 October – Friends of Port River – Port River Pulse
- 9 October – Friends of Cox Creek and Friends of Mount George – The Cox Creek Restoration Project
- 11 October – Friends of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary – Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day – view world travelling shorebirds
- 12 October – Friends of Aldinga Scrub – Walk in Aldinga Conservation Park with Friends of Aldinga Scrub
- 12 October – Friends of Sturt River Landcare Group – Come & try – Friends of Sturt River Landcare Group
