Parks Passes

If you’re planning to visit or stay in one of South Australia’s National Parks, you need to pay for entry and make other bookings via the online bookings section of the National Parks and Wildlife Service South Australia website.

Unique Code Numbers

Unique Code Numbers can be used by active group members to obtain concessions when booking Park entry or when booking the hire of other facilities. Group Secretaries will provide active members with a Unique Code Number for their group (supplied annually by the Volunteer and Visitor Programs Unit, NPWSA). These Unique Code numbers replace the former Parks Pass System (2013-2015).

After a Volunteer has contributed 40 hours, the Volunteer can ask their Member Group to provide the code number.

Gold Passes

Friends of Parks and Nature members who have been DEW volunteers for fifteen (15) years or more can apply for a Gold Pass in recognition of their valuable contribution.  Holders receive life-time free entry to those parks in SA that require vehicle or personal access fees and other concessions.

The applicant/s need to apply via the Friends Group Secretary for endorsement. A Secretary can also apply on behalf of a member for a surprise presentation. All cards will be sent to the Secretary directly for presentation.
