Based in Mount Gambier, this group looks after injured and rescued native wildlife.
Friends Of Native Wildlife South East is a volunteer group that started in 2002 after a number of animal rescuers/carers were brought together by a common cause to care for injured and orphaned wildlife throughout the Limestone Coast.
Whilst our group is supported by the Department of Environment and Natural Resource, we receive no financial or resource support but rather rely on the generosity of our members to pay for all costs associated with rescuing and caring for the animals which can be quite expensive.
If you would like to donate to FONWSE so that this group of volunteers can continue with providing this free service to rescue and rehabilitate our wildlife please send donations to PO Box 8465 Mount Gambier East, 5291. A receipt will be provided if you provide your details.
We have a Rescue Coordinator with the FONWSE phone number being 0427 396 919 which is the first point of contact.
