Friends of Mount George Conservation Park







Friends assist National Parks and Wildlife SA in protecting the natural features of Mount George Conservation Park.

The main activity of the group is weed control.

Other activities include seed collection, plant propagation and planting out, historical and biological research, walking trail construction/maintenance and plant, bird and animal identification.

The group consists of members of the local community with a wide range of interests and expertise.

Approximately 70 hectares of bushland. Volunteers conduct working bees on 1st or 3rd Sunday of the month.

New volunteers are always needed and welcome.
