The Fort Glanville Historical Association was founded in 1982 by a group of like minded people, passionate about history and with a common vision in the potential of the neglected fort.
The association was set up with a simple mission statement, to restore, preserve and promote Fort Glanville and the significant role it played in Australia's Colonial history.
The Historical Association is a non for profit organisation with all proceeds going back into Fort maintenance and restoration.
On the third Sunday of each month between September and May The Fort is staffed by Association members who provide a unique living history through uniformed renactments of military activities, including cannon and carbine firing drills.
These services are also available for private functions held at the site, more information on functions and bookings can be found here.
