- Wildlife Photographers Australia original website was set up for a group of Australia’s foremost wildlife photographers. They were Tim Newbery, Ray Channells, Jenni Horsnell, Jimmy Thompson and John Cooper.
- Today, still true to its original aims, Wildlife Photographers Australia has evolved into a group of photographers who regularly go on field trips and meet together. The field trips provide the opportunity to find suitable subjects to photograph and are particularly valuable for those people new to Adelaide or wildlife photography.
