Friends of Hallett Cove Conservation Park

The Friends are a group of people enthusiastic about the conservation and promotion of the Park. The group was formed in 1987 and is part of a statewide network, Friends of Parks Inc.

New Friends are always welcome, especially local residents. The Friends meet each Thursday morning for working bees. Friends activities include:

• Weed eradication
• Seed collection and growing of local native plants
• Planting local species
• Some trail maintenance
• Geological and botanical guided walks for educational and community groups
• Community education about the Park
