Dear Friends of Parks member groups

Further to the recent letter sent to all groups by the Minister for Environment and Water, I am pleased to announce that the Partnership Grants are now open for applications, and close at midnight on Sunday 31 October 2021.

A total of $500,000 is available for grants of up to $25,000 per annum for projects to be completed within three (3) years up to a maximum of $75,000 per application, commencing on payment of funding. The application will require a primary Friends of Parks member or affiliate group applicant, with an identified supporting partner(s). Groups may submit more than one grant application.

The partnership grants support larger-scale or more complex projects, especially those requiring more than one year to complete all stages, although small-scaled grants applications are also welcome. Groups are encouraged to apply for projects partnering with other organisations such as environmental non-government organisations (e-NGOs), Councils, business organisations, Landscape boards, or other Friends of Parks member group(s).

If you have any questions regarding developing a grant application please contact your group’s liaison ranger, or for affiliated group projects the relevant regional NPWS District Ranger.

For eligibility or partnership questions please contact the Volunteer and Visitor Programs staff at:DEWVolunteers@sa.gov.au or telephone 8124 4838.

I wish your group all the best with developing and submitting your applications.

Kind regards
