Friends of Cleland Conservation Park

The Friends Group, well over twenty five years old, was started by Dr Michael Sullivan and his family. In 2013 a new group formed working at two sites: Waterfall Gully between first and second Falls, and along the Carro Track further south. As membership grew, this group expanded to a number of other working sites, including on the Bilba  Track and Mount Lofty Summit. The group's President is Gray Rowe, secretary Carole Pinnock. On many of our visits, particularly in Waterfall Gully, we have sighted the endangered Southern Brown Bandicoot. This beautiful little animal is now on our logo.

An active weed control program is also underway in Chambers Gully.

We are looking for more volunteers in these and other areas of this beautiful park!
